The Class B Red Engineering Brick, standing 65 mm tall, is a high-performance, precision-made facing unit designed for the most demanding structural and civil-engineering applications. Each brick measures 215 × 102.5 × 65 mm and is produced by extrusion followed by wire-cutting, guaranteeing exacting dimensional tolerances and razor-sharp edges for exceptionally tight, uniform mortar joints. Fired to BS EN 771-1 Class B standards, these bricks achieve a minimum compressive strength of 75 N/mm² and exhibit water absorption below 7 percent, making them highly resistant to moisture ingress, freeze-thaw cycling and chemical attack.

Their smooth, semi-vitreous red surface not only lends a clean, consistent appearance but also withstands efflorescence and staining over time—qualities that are essential in exposed or high-humidity environments. Perforated cores reduce overall weight for easier handling on site, improve thermal insulation and enhance mortar keying, speeding up laying rates and economizing on mortar usage. Supplied in bulk packs (typically around 500 units per pack) or pallets for larger projects, these engineering bricks excel in applications such as foundations, damp-proof courses, retaining walls, manholes, culverts and any installation where long-term durability and structural integrity are paramount. Whether used underground or on visible elevations, the Class B Red Engineering Brick delivers a combination of robust performance, aesthetic consistency and low maintenance that endures for decades.
